VERY, VERY, unfortunately, the U.S. Angels have had to hang up their wings (at least for the time being).  We cannot say enough how much we appreciate the support we have received and how much we appreciate our soldiers serving now and in the past.  We will truly miss the interaction we have had with everyone.  We know that our troops are being supported by many people around the world.  We will still be doing our part individually and with the same big hearts as always.  Please continue to do your part and make sure your voice is heard loud and clear.  Always remember - FREEDOM ISN’T FREE! 

This Saturday, July 21 from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m. FireHouse Rock Productions presents the Rock & Ride Bikers Bash! This show is very near and dear to our hearts. We are teaming up with our friends (and Iraqi War vets) Method of Friction along with 4 other bands to help raise money for the Fisher House! All the proceeds go to benifit families and Service Members who have been wounded in action while they recover. So, PLEASE come on out to the Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad on Route 4 South,! See ya at the Rock Show!! $5 donation at entry. Bike Show Registration is $10 and will be from 4:00 to 6:00 with vote count and trophy awards at 8:00! Vendors, beer, food, live music, and lots of fun!

The U.S. Angels 2007 Support Our Troops Calendar is now available!  Keep an eye on the website to see where we will be so you can come out and have yours signed by each of the U.S. Angels in person!  If you can’t make it to one of our events, contact us at AngelsOnion@verizon.net to make arrangements to purchase one!  Just in time for the Holidays - the perfect gift with the proceeds going to a very worthy cause!

The U.S. Angels have been personally invited to join the American Motorcycle Drag Race All Gas Series (AMDRAGS), a new racing sanction run by American Iron Magazine at MIR on Sept 9th and 10th for their final national event.  Although we can’t make it on the 9th due to a prior commitment at H-D of Washington (see calendar page), we will be there on the 10th!  This event is expected to bring large crowds and offers all day racing, drag race school, swap meet and international bike show.  Coverage will be handled on AMDRAGS.com, Dragbike.com and American Iron Magazine, the largest HD style publication in the country with a distribution of over 250,000 magazines per month. 

The U.S. Angels will be at Budd’s Creek on Saturday, July 15 in support of our wounded soldiers!  Come out and show your support as well.  Spend the day watching some bad-ass bikes!  For all the racing info, check out http://www.mirdrag.com/v2/schedule/calendar/06-07/060715.htm

Memorial Weekend was everything you can imagine in a tribute to those we’ve lost, whether they be gone forever or POW/MIAs.  H-D of Washington had a full house on Saturday with free food and drink, vendors, and friends from all over the country!  Sunday and Monday the U.S. Angels were on Thunder Alley right in the middle of the action!  Lots of people are sporting their very own U.S. Angels t-shirts and we are grateful for their support.  We even got a chance to visit with one of our “boys”, Benson, who is a patient at WRAMC now.  For pictures of him, you can check out our Bike Show Album in the Gallery.  Thank you to everyone who participated in this very worthwhile weekend of paying respect to all of America’s servicepeople, past and present.

Big U.S. Angels thanks to everyone who participated and came out to our first ever bike show!  We were able to raise a record-breaking amount in support of our troops at Fisher House with the help of all of you!  Benson and Ronnell even came down to Southern Maryland from Walter Reed and enjoyed a beautiful day with us!  Everytime we looked someone was shaking their hand and thanking them for their service.  That’s what it’s all about!  We’re heard reviews from many who were there that it was a fantastic day and we feel the same!  When the Angels finally tucked their wings in to sleep that night, we were thrilled to know we had accomplished our mission.  Thank you again to all who were involved! 

 The Angels are getting excited about their Bike Show!  We have door prizes to give away every half hour, 5 different raffle prizes, as well as tons of other fun!  The weather is looking good, signs are posted, authorities are aware of what’s happening, and we’re ready to roll!  Come down and support our troops while enjoying a beautiful day filled with fun!  Take Route 5 South toward St. Marys County for 15.46 miles, through and past 231 in Hughesville, Mechanicsville Rd. is 6.6 miles from the intersection of 231. You will pass Berts Drive In Restaurant on the left. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CHAPTICO MECHANICSVILLE RD. (blinking yellow light right after Mechanicsville Elementary School). Go straight through the four way stop and the Moose Lodge is just over a mile ahead on the right side of the road. You’ll see pink everywhere and know you’re in the right place! The entrance to the parking area will be on the left just before you get to the building.  We hope to see you there!  I got a call this week that some of the patients from Walter Reed are going to make it down, so be sure you get a chance to thank them for their sacrifices. They deserve that and so much more!

Big U.S. Angels thanks to Jim Harris for having us out to his new store!  In spite of the weather, there was a big crowd with live music, free food, and lots to see!  Congratulations to Debbie Devine for winning the U.S. Angels’ 50/50 raffle!  She won $120 and said she was taking her Honey out to dinner!
